Honey Bake Ham

My mom took us to the library and got lots of cool books. After that we went back home and were surprised to find that our neighbor, Mary left a Honey Baked ham and a box of soup beans with dad. Cool!

Cherries, Black Berries, and Peanut Butter

I was doing my thing when my mom called me over and told me to go ride my bike to Fannie's house, a friend of ours. When I got there, she handed me some tasty looking cherries and black berries and a large jar of peanut butter, yum!

A Second Suprise

We were still excited about some groceries that Fannie had brought when Evelyn came over with even more to eat wonderful

It was a sitting around day when there was a knock at the door and there was Fannie with a bag of supplies, what a pleasant surprise

Short Cake

We sent one of the kids to bring something over to Fanny's house. She sent these gifts back home with them. Blue berries and mustard came from Fanny the rest came from Pat.

Bagels, Pizza and Bread, oh yeah!

I heard a knock at the door but since our parents were gone I didn't answer it. then when I didn't open it I heard a chair scraping outside then nothing else happened. A few minutes later my mom and dad came in carrying the food you saw in the picture and said they found it all on a chair just outside.Its amazing that someone would be wiling to give us such good food and not decide to keep it for themselves.
