God Provides Jello
On my morning walk I noticed someone was tossing out a rebounder baseball net. My son, Trust wanted one, and he quickly ran over to check it out after I told him about it. On his way home, with his new treasure in hand, our neighbor Mary gave him a bag full of jello and marshmallows for our family. One morning, two blessings.

God Provides Amish Bread
JoAnn O'Rourke brought over this loaf of Amish bread.Amish bread is made by adding flour and a few other ingredients to fermented batter that a friend shared with you. You split the new batter in two, bake one half into a loaf and share the remaining batter with a friend who in turn repeats the process.
It's a fun way to share and get treats.

Bananas
Mary brought these over.Although I tried a variety of local bananas, I never had this type of banana before. They are very starchy and tasted like yukka. We were hoping they would sweeten up when you fry them like a plantain but they didn't.
Also the peals did not pull away from the fruit.
After some thought we try boiling them whole.
This worked wonderfully. The peals split and were easy to removed.
From here we cut them into strips, fried and salted them like french fries. They were pretty good. The kids loved them.
Diapers
I'm not sure who gave this to us.My kids were sitting in the pew at church before service. Catherine and I were not sitting yet. A older lady brought these to our kids. They didn't know who she was, didn't get her name and don't remember what she looks like.
We've kids trained our children to sit still with out our presence. Now we need to work on their paying attention while they are sitting still.
