I'm not sure how to explain how this 10 dollars landed in my hands. While I was out canvassing for State Representative I spoke to a man I met before during the city elections. He thought it would be a joke to give me a 100 dollars. So, he took out a 10 dollar bill and folded it up so the zero on the right sat next to the 10 on the left. After he folded it, he handed it to me. I thought it was but a joke so I smiled then handed the money back to him. He was insisted that I keep the bill saying to go buy myself dinner.Keep in mind that the rules of this forum allow only posting gifts that are completely unsolicited. I did not tell this man I wanted or even needed the money. I was dressed well and groomed well also. I wasn't even asking for money for the campaign, but was collecting signatures to get my name on the ballet. The man didn't even know I had a large family to support. Sometimes I have to laugh at how God provides for our family.
